Job involves design and development of management software infrastructure for Cisco NXOS platform. We are looking for candidates who strive in a fast paced startup like environment. > Responsibilities: Participate in a project team of experienced engineers involved in the development of software for our next generation data center switch product family, with emphasis on manageability of NXOS. Candidate is expected to work through all stages of software cycles. Define, architect, design, and deliver new software and features for the Nexus 7000 platform. . Write portions of product spec. Write complete functional and design specs. Design & develop large portions of software independently and rapidly. Write and conduct unit and integrated test plans. The work output is highly visible and will be used by multiple BUs within Cisco and provide manageability foundation of NXOS that enables the capabilities of Nexus platforms. > Required Skills: .Three plus years of hands-on experience in C programming skills. .Strong experience in real time embeded system Strong experience in SNMP (including SNMPv3). .Strong problem solving and software development/troubleshooting skills. .Minimum three years of related work experience is required. .BSEE/CS is required a MSEE/CS is preferred.
